The standard, most common cards in a set. Base cards form the foundation of every product release and typically feature every player or character in the checklist. While individually they hold minimal value, complete base sets are collected by hobbyists and certain high-demand base cards (key rookies, star players) can still carry significant premiums, especially in top-tier products.
