About CardPulse
An independent trading-card tracking tool and hobby resource, built in Europe.
What CardPulse is
CardPulse helps trading-card collectors answer two everyday questions: what do I actually own, and what is it worth right now? You photograph a card, our scanner reads the player, set, parallel and serial number, and CardPulse tracks its live market value over time β so the cards in your collection stop being a guess and start being data you can act on.
It was built for the way the hobby actually works in Europe, where prices are spread across many marketplaces and currencies and a single card can sell for very different amounts depending on where you look. Most pricing tools are built US-first; CardPulse aggregates comparables from the marketplaces European collectors really use, alongside the global ones, and reports value in the context that matters for your card.
How it works
- Scan & identify. Snap the front (and back) of a card and CardPulse reads its details automatically, then files it into your collection.
- Value over time. Cards are grouped into archetypes (the same card across variants and grades), and we pull comparable listings and sales so you see a real market value, not a single noisy listing.
- Signals. When a card's market moves, CardPulse flags whether it looks like a moment to hold, watch or consider selling β with the data behind it, never a blind verdict.
- Pulse Check. An on-demand read on an individual card, written in plain language.
Beyond the tool: covering the hobby
CardPulse is also a place to follow the hobby. We maintain a free, regularly updated directory of card shows and conventions across Europe and worldwide, publish set checklists and a collector glossary, and write an editorial blog covering new releases, market trends, grading and how to buy and sell sensibly. These resources are free and open to everyone, collector or not.
Who's behind it
CardPulse is independently built and run β not owned by a marketplace, a grading company or a card manufacturer. That independence is the point: our job is to give collectors a clear, honest read on their cards and the hobby, without an incentive to push you toward any one place to buy or sell. We're collectors building the tool we wanted to exist.
How we make money
We're transparent about this. CardPulse offers free and paid tiers for the tracking tool, and we may earn affiliate commissions when you choose to use partners we link to (for example, marketplaces or grading services). Affiliate links never change the price you pay, and they never influence the market values, signals or editorial coverage we show you. Where a link is an affiliate link, our aim is for it to be a service we'd genuinely recommend.
Get in touch
Questions, corrections, partnerships or press? We'd love to hear from you β reach us through the contact page. If you spot a card show that's missing or out of date, or a price that looks wrong, tell us; the hobby data gets better when collectors flag it.
