Raw

A card that has not been submitted to or evaluated by a professional grading service. Raw cards are unslabbed and their condition is assessed subjectively by buyers and sellers. Buying raw offers the opportunity to grade the card yourself and potentially profit from the grade bump, but also carries risk since the true condition is unverified. Raw cards are generally cheaper than their graded equivalents.
