Break

A group opening event where multiple participants pay for a share of sealed product, typically streamed live. Breaks come in various formats — team breaks (you buy a team and get all cards for that team), random breaks, pick-your-team, and hit breaks. They allow collectors to access expensive products at a fraction of the full box price. The break industry has grown massively and is a major driver of modern card sales.
