BGS

Beckett Grading Services, a major third-party grading company known for their sub-grade system. BGS provides four sub-grades (centering, corners, edges, surface) alongside an overall grade. A BGS 9.5 (Gem Mint) is highly respected, and the rare BGS 10 (Pristine or Black Label) commands enormous premiums. BGS is particularly popular among basketball card collectors.
