Relic
A card containing an embedded piece of game-used or event-used memorabilia, such as a jersey swatch, bat piece, or ball fragment. Relic cards are a step below patch cards in desirability since they usually feature a single-color fabric swatch. They were first introduced by Upper Deck in 1997 and have become a staple of mid-to-high-end products.
