Flipping

The practice of buying cards (or sealed product) and quickly reselling them for profit. Flippers typically capitalize on short-term market movements — buying during dips or immediately after a player's big game, then selling into the hype. Successful flipping requires strong knowledge of comp data, market timing, and transaction costs (shipping, fees, taxes). It is a core part of the hobby economy but carries real financial risk.
